Inese Laivinieks (originally from Cleveland) and George Laivinieks (a retired attorney from Chicago) are the owners of the Birds and Paradise bed and breakfast in Cuernavaca.  Inese was a buyer for a large department store in Cleveland.  Thereafter she worked in the trust department as a Pension Trust Executive for a large mid-western bank.  Moved to Cuernavaca Mexico in 1995. 

George, a graduate from the University of Illinois, college of Law, practiced law in Chicago for some 30 years and is now in semi-retirement in Cuernavaca.  George is active in the import-export area and in Mexican Silver Jewelry business from Taxco See his web-site at www.silverjewlery.com
